:D Egypt Memory :D {A Holiday Memory}

by Jozsef, 6th grade

In the summer I went to Egypt with my family.
Egypt is really beautiful.
I went for one week. The first day me and my family discovered EGYPT. We explored around our hotel.
The second day, in the morning I ran the sea and swam.
The third day again I ran to the sea.
The fourth day me and my family went to Luxor. It’s really beautiful. To me the most beautiful thing there was the river.
I don’t remember the fifth and the sixth days.
On the last day me and my family went to the sea and we snorkeled. We saw many beautiful fish.
This trip was special for me because it was my first time on a plane and to a foreign country.

A Halloween Memory {A Holiday Memory}

by: Rebeka, 6th grade

Last year I had a memorable Halloween.

It was memorable, because I burned down a pillow.

That all started when I wanted to light a candle in the pumpkin. I took the candle to my room and I lit it. Then I took the candle outside to the pumpkin. When I went back inside I saw the pillow was on fire. I will never forget that Halloween!  😂

A Christmas Memory {A Holiday Memory}

by Irisz, 6th grade

I was making Christmas cookies with my mom. We started by mixing all of the ingredients. Then we rolled out the dough and cut out stars and socks. Stars are my favourite. Next we put the cookies into the oven. We baked them about ten minutes. We take out the cookies and while they cool we take sugar and water and make the icing. In the kitchen was a very good smell from the cookies.

San Francisco {Travel Post}

by L. Máté, 6th grade

It’s officially the City and County of San Francisco. It’s the 13th most populated city in the United States and the 4th in California. It’s 121.4 squre kilometers, it was the 7th highest-income county in the U.S, with an average income of $110,418. San Francisco was founded on June 29, 1776, when colonists from Spain established Presidio of San Francisco at the Golden Gate and Mission San Francisco de Asís a few miles away, all named for St. Francis of Assisi. The California Gold Rush ($◡$) of 1349 brought a lot of people here. At that time it was the largest city on the West Coast. This city was destroyed by the 1906 earthquake and fire, but it was rebuilt. San Francisco is known for it’s cool summer, the Golden Gate Bridge and the cable cars. San Francisco is the headquarter of Dropbox, Reddit and Square Inc.

If you take a trip to San Francisco you should check out the Golden Gate Bridge and the De Young Museum, but I can’t say too much about that because I haven’t been there YET.

London {Travel Post}

by Jozsef, 6th grade

I will look at Big Ben and Parliament.

Palace At Winchester, London

I will visit Madam Tussaud. It's really interesting because the puppets look real but aren't. :)

The last thing I will see is the London Eye.
